Step four:

This is the Clarendon Homes Colour Studio part where our team of experts helps you decide on all the fixtures, fittings and flourishes of your home. Basically, this is where your brand-new home really comes to life.

Step five:

This is the bit where all your paperwork needs to be signed and sorted and handed back to us to that we can start construction on your brand-new home.

Step six:

Yep, the exciting bit where your home starts to take shape.

Clarendon Homes fond memories of home

Our childhood homes are where some of our best childhood memories are stored. And when it comes to kids, they know their houses better than anyone. After all, they know all the little areas best for hide and seek. They know the best areas to stash lollies and the comfiest chair in the lounge room.

So many Australians will remember creaky, ramshackle, tiny houses that their family just barely squeezed into. They remember sharing rooms with their brothers and sisters, and ceiling fans that could fall down at any second.

Debunking the Clarendon Homes myths [FAQ]

At Clarendon Homes, we know that buying a home is serious business and that building one from scratch can be even more of a commitment. So here, we answer a few frequently asked questions so you know even more about the Clarendon Homes’ process before you start.

  • Will my home look like everyone else’s?

The answer to this is: absolutely not.
Not only do we have dozens of different designs, buteach design has a number of facades to choose from. Then you choose your exterior colours and finishes so by the time all that’s done, you may just have the best and most different house on the block.
  • Do I have to stick with the floorplan or can I make changes?

Our Clarendon Homes floorplans are planned and designed for how life works , but are certainly open to your interpretation. We’ve been doing this for 35 years and although we definitely have some great ideas, we like to work with you to make sure the house we build is the house that you’ve always imagined.
  •  How creative can I be?


VERY! We aim to help you tap into your creative self when you visit our Clarendon Homes Colour Studio. This is where you can choose all the fixtures and finishings of your home, as well as the internal and external colour schemes. Our Clarendon Homes Colourexperts will be with you throughout the whole process and they’ll help you with guidance and inspiration along the way.

Clarendon Homes in six steps

They say that the best things take time and the same goes for building your brand new Clarendon Homes home. There are a few processes that come into play when building your home and it’s best to be familiar with them before you build, just so you know what to expect and when.

Here is the Clarendon Homes six-step guide to building your brand new home
  1. The site inspection is where one of our Clarendon Homes staff visits your block to assess the land and make sure it meets all the necessary standards.
  2. Next we work on the tender. One of our representatives will work with you to get everything done. Be sure to discuss any necessary changes at this stage.
  3. Now we work on and go over the building contract and architectural designs. Get your loans approved by this stage and ensure you get all your structural changes sorted.
  4. The fun bit, the colour selections stage means a day spent with our design experts and the Clarendon Homes Colour studio. You’ll work on interior and exterior designs, as well as finishes throughout your home.
  5. Now it’s time to ensure all your signed documents are provided to Clarendon Homes so we can move on to the final stage…
  6. The building approval and site start. This is where the magic happens and you get to watch as your home begins to be built from the ground up.
